We have 2 sons, Jarrette and Jonathon, who are in their thirties and still single. Horrors! No grandchildren! But they are great guys and we all enjoy one another. We're retired and looking forward to the October reunion. Thanks for all the work many of you do to bring this about."

I have been in the Dallas area since 1973 and love it. And believe it or not, I am still with the same husband as the last reunion. (That's an accomplishment since he is #3.) We have been together 21 years. Our favorite pastime is NASCAR. We have been to all the races at the Texas track since it opened. We have been twice to the Talledaga track and last year we went to the big one in Daytona. I never had any children of my own but have had some wonderful step children along the way. We have one grandbaby that just turned a year old. As far as retirement, hopefully I will get to retire in 2-3 years."
2009 - "I have been retired from ARI for three years and love it. (I am still trying to figure how I got everything done when I worked.) Still married to Harvey (ole #3). We have been together for 26 years. He retired from GTE (Verizon now) in 1995 and recently retired officially from another communications company. One step-daughter, Sonya Westfall, who is a teacher in Richardson, TX, and her husband Michael (also a teacher/coach), 2 grandchildren - Cori (6) and Carter (7 months). I love NASCAR, scrapbooking (when I have time), and being a Grandma."
2014 Update: I’m going on eight years since I retired and still enjoy every minute of it. Other than the minor aches and pains for “older” folks, we have been blessed with good health. There are still so many things on my “bucket list” to do and see. Harvey and I enjoy traveling (cruising mostly). Since retirement, we have been to Hawaii, Alaska, and island hopping in the Caribbean. Next year, we are cruising the New England area into Canada. Since the last reunion, we have added another “grandchild (Camryn – 3) for a total of three. They all keep us young but worn out!
Life Lessons: Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don’t, and believe everything happens for a reason.
