I am nearing completion of a Masters degree in health law and look forward to continued good health. I have one grandson in Shreveport. I regret that I am unable to attend the reunion. I had looked forward to the '4th Ten Year Reunion' for the Class of 64. I hope to see some of you in the near future."

Tim passed away on May 6, 2011.

In 2004 Patricia wrote:  "Received BA degree in social studies and English secondary education for Northwestern State University and graduate school at Mississippi College and LSU. 1968-1984 taught in high schools in Natchitoches, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, Jackson, MS and Spring, TX. 1984-1991 worked in administration at Klein Forest High School in Spring, TX. Retired in 1991 to become a full-time corporate wife and homemaker, moving with John Ramsey, my husband of 37 years, to Redmond, WA, Mission Viejo, CA, Scottsdale, AZ, and now Tacoma, WA. Very special joys in life include entertaining in our home, socializing with our friends and family which also inclues our two West Highland white terriers, interior decorating, gardening, and living in the Pacific Northwest."

2009 - "Well, John and I did it again!  I was promised that we were permanently settled in the Pacific Northwest, and we built our dream home high on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains; the deck parties were nothing short of awesome!  But...he was offered a promotion and we moved for the nineth time and are now in the San Antonio area, John did indulge me with the opportunity to design and build a home exactly like I wanted.  The good part of living here is that our extended families all live within a 5-hour drive radius from our home so it has become the party house for our families."

2014 Update: After completing my education at NSU in Natchitoches, LA, Mississippi College in Clinton, MS and LSU in Baton Rouge, LA, I spent the next 25 years in secondary education. The first 18 were teaching high school students, and the last 7 were in administration. The day I walked out of the last school and into retirement was the second happiest day of my life; the happiest day was the day John and I married in 1967. We have had experiences and opportunities that we did not even know existed when we were those young, carefree students at WHS. But there is something we will never forget and that is the spirit and joy we felt being a part of the Class of ’64!

Children/grandchildren: All of our children are snow white and they have four paws!

2019 Update:  Only in different ways than when we were younger, but these last 5 years have been just as eventful for the Ramsey family. The big news for 2017 was our 50th wedding anniversary; the celebration was not what we had planned, but neither was our honeymoon 50 years earlier. In both cases we had planned to celebrate in Houston; financial reality stopped us on our honeymoon and Hurricane Harvey stopped us on our anniversary. John retired in 2014, both of our mothers have passed away, our travel is no longer to such distant places as before, and we have become more intimately involved with the community of physicians in San Antonio. Patricia has added enough hardware to her back so that she sets off all bells and whistles when going through airports; she has 3 cervical discs, 5 lumbar discs, 5 sacral discs, and 4 coccyx discs, as well as her SI joints between her sacrum and ilium bones all fused. She is also a six-year breast cancer survivor. All of these surgeries, recoveries, and physical therapy consumed large chunks of time as well as pressed John into service as “house boy” as he refers to himself. John has continued to have excellent health, for which we are very thankful. During the last few years our fun travel has centered around concerts in the U. S. of famous opera singers, The Three Tenors, Placido Domingo, Renee Fleming, and Andrea Bocelli. It has given us the opportunity to revisit cities where we have lived as well as to explore new ones; we currently have two Bocelli concerts booked in two different cities. Music has always been a large part of our lives so we have taken, and continue to take, these opportunities to hear and see some of the best musicians in the world. The centers of joy for our lives continue to be our Westie Girls; we have lost our first two, Heather and Katie, but are now thoroughly enjoying Annie and Lily. After retirement, John has become more seriously involved with his stamp collection and the American Philatelic Society. In 2016, he attended the International Philatelic Exhibition in New York City where he was thrilled to meet many of the dealers with whom he has done business. Even though our life together has given us many opportunities and experiences that we could never have dreamed of, some of the very best memories are of our years at W.H.S.and with you, the Class of 1964.
