Our youngest son Corey (29) is a sales representative for Topline Sales and lives in Shreveport. He is married to Tracie and they have given us two granddaughters; Reagan (2), 'the light of our lives' and God's sweetest angel, Micah, who would be 5. We enjoy traveling with a group of friends and have experienced some great trips over the last 15 years."

2009 - "Freddie and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary this year.  He has been retired for four years.  I am still running the office for Shreveport Mack Sales (25 years).  I am looking at retiring in the near future.  Our sons, Chris of Mobile, AL, and Corey of Shreveport, areboth married.  We have two grandchildren, Reagan and Reed, and feel really blessed to be able to enjoy them in Shreveport.  We regret that we will not be able to attend the 45th Reinion due to previous committment out of town."

2014 Update: I recently celebrated 48 years of marriage to the “love of my life,” Freddie. We are both retired. He and I celebrated my retirement in 2011 with a land tour and cruise of Alaska in 2012. We have also enjoyed traveling to many other states over the years.

Grandchildren: We are blessed to enjoy iving in the same city as our children, Chris and Corey, and grandchildren, Reagan (12) and Reed (5).

Life lessons: It’s never too late to: learn something new, do what you’ve always wanted to do, make a difference, hope, be positive, understand God’s power, or say I’m sorry.

Bob and I will celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary in December.  We enjoy our new home and traveling, most recently to San Francisco and the Napa Valley. Our daughter is 24 and has moved to Frisco, TX. She is in management with Nordstrom. We are really proud of her accomplishments. She graduated in 2002 from LSU-S, Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Sociology. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the reunion as we will be out of town, but I wish all my classmates well and thank the committee for their hard work."

Koetter Bridges, Harriet (spouse Leroy) - 1991 Cotton Club Rd., Lake Providence, LA 71254; 318/559-1855 or (cell) 318/282-1798.

2009  - She writes she is enjoying retirement but still working part-time.  "I'm retired from LSU in 2004 and I've been working at the LA State Cotton Museum for three years.  I've been married to a Delta farmer (Leroy) for 39 years, we're still farming. I do a great deal of community service work and I'm on the East Carroll Parish School Board.  I stay busy and try to find time to garden.  No grandchildren, but our wonderful daughter is near and teaching."

2014 Update: For many of the past fifty years, I worked with the LSU Ag Center doing Family and Consumer Science work with the youth and adults in East and West Carroll Parishes. I have been retired from LSU for the past ten years. Since then I’ve been on the East Carroll Parish School Board, and for eight of those ten years, I’ve been working at the LA State Cotton Museum here in Lake Providence. My husband, Leroy, is a farmer in the Mississippi Delta where we lie. We have one daughter, Jennifer, who is also an educator in the West Carroll Parish School System.

Grandchildren: Leroy and I have one daughter, Jennifer; there are no grand or great grands.

Life lessons: The many experiences in my life have involved working with and helping others to have a better life for themselves and their families. I do a great deal of community service work to promote and provide for those in this parish. This parish is primarily a farming parish being located on the Mississippi River and the Arkansas state line. I’ve learned to be a farmer’s wife and the vast needs required to operate a modern day farm. Life has been good and I hope to continue with the work that I’ve been doing for the past half century.
