2009 - "I do a lot of volunteer work at our church. It's mainly with children; I teach pre-K choir and have been a teacher for Music Camp. I also serve in our nursery once a month - toddlers 13 to 15 months. I sing in our church choir and work with an older adult choir. It's a community sercice choir from our church. We visit assisted living and retirement communities and sing and minister to the residents. It's very rewarding and inspiring to me. Randy and I travel as much as we can. We both like to plan trips or take spontaneous- last-minute trips."
2014 Update: Since 2009, we’ve been traveling all across the USA and Canada in our motor home. We’ve been from St. Augustine, FL to Portland, Maine; on the West Coast from California to Portland, OR. More places to see and miles to go before we settle down.
Grandchildren: Our grandson Erik and Meriam were married in August. She’s a wonderful addition to our family. Lauren, our granddaughter, is a senior and is very excited to be graduating. She’s already making plans for her future.
Life lessons: End every conversation with your children, grandchildren and the great grandchildren, husband/wife by saying, “I love you.” Put God first in your life. Live your faith. Pray and read your Bible. Beauty fades but stupid is forever!

2014 Update: I think that I have made it to all of our reunions and have enjoyed them all. We left Shreveport in August of 1989 and moved to Ozark, MO. We love it up here. Lynn’s work took us to Wisconsin in 2005 for three years. I retired from doing hair at that time to be able to accompany him. We lived in Wausau, and west of Green Bay and Appleton during that time. While there we were able to make several trips to see that part of the country, both Wisconsin and upper Michigan. I even became used to the cold winters and snow, snow, snow. One thing I did do a few years back was find one of our classmates. She was a friend of our in our Junior year, Ruby Jones. I had not talked to her in 40 years when I made contact with her. Lynn and I went to visit her and her husband Ellis in North Carolina. What a visit! We continue to make our home here in the Ozark region and enjoy the many friends, and of course the area, and what it has to offer.
Grandchildren: Lynn and I have four children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Life lessons: Do everything that you enjoy doing. Make the effort to do the things that you dream of doing, as it all too often happens time and circumstances will get in the way, or slip away if you wait too long. Enjoy your life, family and friends. Inwardly you may feel like 18, but if you notice, all your friends seem to be a little worn around the edges. If you look in the mirror you will notice that you are too. Where have all the years gone. Best wishes to all.

Working from my office within the Caddo Parish 9-1-1 Center, I have a number of responsibilities that include: statistical analysis, in-house trianing, procedural documentation, mapping, and database development, as well as technical and operational support to all police divisions. I also serve as the Department's data services liaison with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety in Baton Rouge and the FBI National Crime Information Center (NCIC). Over the years, I enrolled in course studies at Louisiana Tech, Centenary, BPCC, LSU-S and numerous technical schools and seminars that were job related. A moonlighting career from 1967-1988 had me announcing high school and college football games at Caddo Parish (Lee Hedges) Stadium and Independence Stadium. That included games in the old Louisiana Tech vs. Northwestern series as well as several State Championship high school games during the period. Though now divorced, I was married to Sandi Livingston (St. Vincent Academy, Class of '64) and was the stepfather to Denise and Allen, both grown and married with families of their own. I currently serve as the membership chairman in a local singles organization for men and women. Hobbies and recreational interests involve collecting movies on DVD; listening to music; reading; collecting model aircraft; computer-based flight simulators; internet browsing and emailing friends; politics; chess; shooting sports (rifle and pistol); dining out at fine restaurants (especially Fertitta's and Ernest's); following Evangel and LSU football; and generally being with friends."
2009 - Henry began his 45th year with the Shreveport Police Department in June. He is now senior-most member of the department that numbers over 600 employees. "Continuing service as CAD systems specialist in Communications Services Bureau. Also, just completed building a new home in the Twelve Oaks community of southeast Shreveport. It took 4 months to build (2900 s.f.) and nearly 4 weeks to move in. I might add that LSU football never looked better than on the SONY 65" Bravia HDTV which is the centerpiece of the great room. Cheers to everyone!"
Henry passed away in 2012.
